RESULTS

Segment #1: The New Day's championship victory celebration ends in chaos

Kofi Kingston wasn't granted a lot of time to congratulate Big E on winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championships last week. Pretty soon into the celebration, Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado) came out to not only congratulate The New Day, but to also declare themselves as the first challengers for the titles. This declaration brought out The Miz and John Morrison, who whined about losing their titles in a triple threat match (despite having defended them in a triple threat ladder match a few weeks prior). While the three teams debated in the ring, newcomers The Forgotten Sons (Jaxson RykerWesley Blake, & Steve Cutler) appeared to lay a beat-down on everyone while The Miz and Morrison skedaddled away.

Segment #2: King Corbin "qualifies" for Money in the Bank

King Corbin always has a plan up his sleeve, and there was no way he was not going to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match. After toying around with Drew Gulak, and telling Daniel Bryan that the ring is only for "big boys," Corbin soon realized that he was in way over his head against Gulak. The submission specialist started mounting a comeback, which initiated Corbin to call for plan B. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro rushed to ringside, taking Daniel Bryan out and allowing Corbin to hit The End of Days on a distracted Gulak.

Segment #3: Sheamus squashes Daniel Vidot

There isn't much to report on this one. Another NXT star, this time Daniel Vidot, tried to make a name for himself against Sheamus. "The Celtic Warrior" wasn't having it though, quickly knocking Vidot out with the Brogue Kick. Afterwards, Sheamus again confronted Michael Cole on commentary, this time ripping his headset off, making it known that he doesn't want to be interrupted for the Jeff Hardy videos. What will Hardy's reaction be to all of this?

Segment #4: The Lucha House Party earns a surprise victory over The Miz and John Morrison

After making it known that they don't consider Lucha House Party worthy contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, The Miz and John Morrison may be eating their words very soon. The Miz and Morrison dominated throughout the entire contest. However, it was Gran Metalik who was able to secure a quick, roll-up pin for the victory. They seem pretty worthy now, don't they?

Segment #5: Lacey Evans qualifies for Money in the Bank over Sasha Banks

I am certain that Lacey Evans was happy to be standing across the ring from Sasha Banks in her Money in the Bank qualifying match. After a losing effort in a feud with Banks friend, the SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, Evans definitely got her revenge tonight. Although Bayley tried to halt Evans with several distractions, she ended up distracting her friend just as much as her rival. Evans was able to nail a Woman's Right, and advance to Money in the Bank.

Segment #6: Carmella and Dana Brooke can't get the job done against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

The rag-tag duo of Carmella and Dana Brooke was not enough to overcome the Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Carmella and Brooke shot out of the gate, and held control for almost all of the match. Cross' partner awareness saved the champions, because after secretly tagging herself in, the champions were able to hit a 3-D for the win.

Segment #7: Shawn Michaels helps "celebrate" 25 years of Triple H

In perhaps the most D-X-esque segment of all time, Triple H and Shawn Michaels came out to celebrate 25 years of "The Game." After pulling up video clips of D-X outtakes and all of Triple H's losses at WrestleMania, Stephanie McMahon, Ric Flair, and Road Dogg all video-called in, thanking "The Cerebral Assassin" for all that he has done. Afterwards, Vince McMahon came out to bring up some of the worst segments in WWE history: The Gobbledy Gooker, Katie Vick, and Bayley-This is Your Life. The Chairman of the WWE literally shut the segment down by turning all the lights in the arena off. A great way to thank Triple H for 25 years of service? Yes! Yes! Yes!
