RESULTS

Segment #1: "The VIP Lounge" ends in disarray

MVP opened the show with "The VIP Lounge," vowing that one of his guests, Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black, and Apollo Crews (MVP's odds on favorite), was going to win the Money in the Bank Ladder match. After asking Mysterio and Black questions, and answering for them, MVP gave the mic to crews, claimed that no one needed the win more than him. Zelina Vega and her ensemble of Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. Vega said that it would be best for business if the three contenders gave their Money in the Bank privilege to her crew. This initiated a giant brawl, which turned into an immediate tag team match.

Segment #2: Crews, Mysterio, and Black overcome Vega's crew

Despite Zelina Vega's confident boasting that her crew would assuredly secure the Money in the Bank Briefcase for Raw, tonight's 6-Man tag team match seems to prove otherwise. Although they did control most of the match, isolating Black from making a tag, their opponents were able to rebound, with Apollo Crews finishing off Andrade with a Powerbomb.

Segment #3: Women's triple threat match ends before it even begins

Before the bell could even ring, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax were tearing each other apart. For a short time, each of the three women held control. However, it was Nia Jax brutally swinging a ladder who came out on top. Will this be the same result at Money in the Bank?

Segment #4: Bobby Lashley squashes Denzel Dejournette

Things just keep getting worse for NXT star Denzel Dejournette. The young upstart keeps getting put into impossible situations, firstly against Seth Rollins, and this match against Bobby Lashley was more of the same. "The All Mighty" dominated Dejournette, finishing the young man off with a nasty Spear.

Segment #5: For the second week in a row, Liv Morgan defeats Ruby Riott

Liv Morgan is continuing to put her past behind her and look towards the future. After besting Ruby Riott last week, the former friends were more than willing to duke it out again. Although Morgan was in control in the early goings, Riott was able to hit a surprise Riott Kick. Liv somehow kicked out of Riott's finisher, and hit Oblivion to finish off her old running mate.

Segment #6: Jinder Mahal returns to destroy Akira Tozawa

After months on the shelf, Jinder Mahal has returned with a vengeance, and a probable plan to recapture the WWE Championship. Taking on Akira Tozawa, Mahal was quick to show the WWE Universe why he was WWE Champion for six months. He brutalized Tozawa, finishing the cruiserweight off with the Khallas.

Segment #7: An injury to Apollo Crews allows Andrade to secure victory

After pinning Andrade in the tag team match earlier on in the night, Apollo Crews was feeling very confident in himself. So confident was Crews, that he challenged Andrade to a United States Championship match, which Zelina Vega accepted much to the chagrin of Andrade. Crews and Andrade are some of the most talented workers on the roster, so it makes sense why this contest was a heated back and forth. In fact, the match could have gone on all night, were it not for a knee injury to Apollo. Hopefully this injury doesn't affect his placement in the Money in the Bank Ladder match.

Segment #8: Ricochet and Cedric Alexander continue to meld together as a team

Ricochet and Cedric Alexander continue to rise through the ranks of the red brand's tag team division. They made quick work of Matt Martel and Chase Parker, but the fun really started after the match. MVP appeared on screen to announce that he is now mentoring Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink. MVP's new team is looking to get their win back over Ricochet and Alexander, but will they be able to?

Segment #9: Drew McIntyre

Contract signings rarely go smoothly in WWE, and this signing between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins continued this trend. "The Monday Night Messiah" declared that he doesn't hate the WWE Champion, but that he needs to be champion because he does things for the greater good. McIntyre wasn't having it though, and slammed Rollins' head into the signing table. "The Disciple" Murphy came out to help Rollins, but the two couldn't overcome "The Scottish Psychopath."
