"Macho Man" Randy Savage Passes Away


On May 20, 2001, Randy Poffo, better known to wrestling audiences as "Macho Man" Randy Savage, passed away. While driving with his wife, Savage experienced a massive heart attack, becoming unresponsive and crashing his car into a tree. "Macho Man" has become one of the most famous wrestlers of all time, thanks to his incredible matches and intense promos. He was involved in one of the top five WrestleMania matches of all time against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at WrestleMania 3. Savage is also revered for his infamous Slim Jim commercials. AJ Styles traded to SmackDown for ?????

AJ Styles is once again on the blue brand! Michael Cole made the announcement during Styles' Intercontinental Championship Tournament match against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week's episode of SmackDown , saying that AJ is back on SmackDown full-time, being traded for a future Raw pick. This was done for kayfabe reasons. Being a Raw superstar, it wouldn't make much sense to have AJ win the IC Title Tournament, because of course it is a SmackDown championship.
