RESULTS

Segment #1: Edge accepts Randy Orton's challenge

After taking a week to think on what his decision would be, Edge returned tonight to give Randy Orton a answer to his challenge to a match at Backlash. He is tired of Randy Orton's games, and although he sees Orton as the best performer in the locker room, Edge is willing to take the risk to show Orton that he does't love the business as much as he does.

Segment #2: Seth Rollins has seen the light, Humberto Carrillo tries to stand up for Rey Mysterio

After Seth Rollins' brutal attack on Rey Mysterio last week, fans were looking for a reason why. "The Monday Night Messiah" was happy to oblige. Talking directly to Mysterio, Rollins stated that he had had a "revelation," and claimed that he had bestowed a blessing upon Rey. The commentary team was quick to point out that Rollins never took responsibilty for the attack on Rey, simply referring to it as "what happened to Rey Mysterio." This sermon prompted Humberto Carrillo, Mysterio's quasi-protege, to come down to the ring to defend his mentor. Rollins wasn't dressed to compete; however, his "Disciple" Murphy was. Carrillo's heart and determination were not enough to carry him to victory though. He got distracted with Rollins at ringside, eventually falling to Murphy's Law. A post-match beat-down of Carrillo was stopped by Murphy's opponent later on in the night, Aleister Black.

Segment #3: Charlotte Flair defeats Ruby Riott

After boasting about her credentials, and claiming that she was going to defeat SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley in their Champion vs. Champion match this Friday, NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair called out Ruby Riott for a match. Riott stormed to the ring, looking to take "The Queen" out. It didn't happen though. The "Genetically Superior" Charlotte was able to tap Riott out with the Figure-8 after an admirable fight.

Segment #4: Asuka celebrates with her new Raw Women's Championship

Kairi Sane came down to a decorated ring, ready to introduce her Kabuki Warriors tag team partner, and new Raw Women's Champion, Asuka. After having a small, musical celebration, Nia Jax came down to spoil the party. She informed Asuka that she is just a temp position, as the only reason she is champion is because Becky Lynch is on maternity leave. Asuka didn't take to kindly to this, and sent Jax running with a flurry of strikes.

Segment #5: Bobby Lashley defeats R-Truth

With MVP's encouragement, Bobby Lashley could very well be the next contender for the WWE Championship. His power, aggression, and ability cannot be denied, especially with tonight's quick victory over R-Truth. "The All Mighty" tapped him out with his full nelson, while MVP clapped for him on the stage.

Segment #6: The IIconics get themselves disqualified in Women's Tag Team Championship match

Last week, The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay) did not take to kindly to Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross reminding them that their return was a bit watered down by Becky Lynch's pregnancy announcement. They defeated the Women's Tag Team Champions in a match, putting them in title contention. That contention came tonight, with Royce and Kay poised to put the titles back around their waists. Their dreams didn't come true however. Peyton Royce got a little overzealous with her beat-down of Alexa Bliss, getting her team disqualified in the process.

Segment #7: Shayna Baszler defeats Natalya in submission match

Natalya was looking to get her win back from Shayna Baszler, after losing to "The Queen of Spades" last week. Despite being brimming with confidence, Natalya wasn't able to put Baszler away. Although Natalya got Baszler in the Sharpshooter, Shayna was able to break free and tap Natalya out with the Kirifuda Clutch.

Segment #8: "The Kevin Owens Show" devolves into chaos

Kevin Owens is on WWE television for the first time since WrestleMania 36, and he brought "The Kevin Owens Show" with him. After announcing that he has been cleared for in-ring action, Owens brought out his guests: Zelina Vega's crew of Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. Kevin Owens had a surprise for his guests. Apollo Crews, who has been on the shelf for weeks after getting injured in a match with Andrade, returned. He was looking to get some revenge, so a tag team match was set up between both teams. After some shoddy teamwork between Theory and Garza, Crews was able to hit his Spin-Out Powerbomb for the win. Afterwards, Andrade and Garza attacked Theory, leaving him in a heap on the floor.

Segment #9: Aleister Black defeats Murphy, only to be attacked by the newest disciple

After having wrestled Humberto Carrillo earlier in the night, Murphy was not ready for the onslaught that is Aleister Black. Thankfully for Murphy, he has "The Monday Night Messiah" Seth Rollins watching his back. Rollins helped the prone Austin Theory up off the floor, and offered him a place as his disciple. Theory accepted, and attacked Black from behind before the match between he and Murphy could end. As Rollins' stable grows, who knows what they are capable of?

Segment #10: Drew McIntyre dethrones King Corbin

Using the brand-to-brand invitational to his advantage, King Corbin was looking to score a big win over the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Corbin used his usual underhanded tactics to gain an occasional edge over Drew, but McIntyre refused to stay down. He planted Corbin with the Claymore, getting the win the process. Afterwards, MVP and Bobby Lashley appeared on the stage to stare McIntyre down.
