While singles wrestling is all fine and good, why not lay the smackdown with a partner. The WWE has been home to some of the greatest tag teams and tag team matches in history. In fact, it was professional wrestling that created and popularized the phrase "tag team." No prize for teams is higher than the Tag Team Championship. So, let's take at look at the ten longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. 10. Scott Hall returns to WCW

Image
On the May 27, 1996 edition of WCW Monday Nitro , a mysterious man in denim jumped the barricade to declare war on the company. That man was Scott Hall, who fans at the time would have known as WWE superstar Razor Ramon . Hall had recently jumped ship to WCW, and wanted to make an impact on the first two-hour edition of Nitro. The bigger impact came later, when Hall reveal that Kevin Nash (formerly WWE's Diesel) would be joining him to form the New World Order . The video of Hall's debut can be seen below. ABOUT The May 25, 2020 edition of Monday Night Raw was hosted from the  Performance Center  in Orlando, Florida. RESULTS Segment #1: "The Kevin Owens Show" ends in chaos (as per usual) Kevin Owens made his way to the ring to host "The Kevin Owens Show," thanking those NXT superstars who decided to be in the audience tonight. Owens welcomed his guest for the evening, the Raw Women's Champion , Asuka . After the two had a bit of banter, interruptions galore began. First it was Charlotte Flair , who reminded the champion that she has beaten her at every opportunity. Next came Natalya , who apologized to Owens for wrecking his set last week. Finally came Nia Jax , who was quick to let Asuka know that she would beat her at Backlash . Kevin Owens darted out of the ring before a brawl ensued. Segment #2: We have a new United States Championship in Apollo Crews After a knee injury in their last contest, Apollo Crews was looking for a fiery rebound ag

WWE Signs Kalisto

Image
On May 26, 2013, WWE officially announced that they had signed a new talent to the roster. That talent would later become known as Kalisto . The masked superstar would make his official debut almost a year later, appearing alongside Sin Cara as The Lucha Dragons. WWE had big plans for the duo, wanting them to be adequate replacements for Rey Mysterio following his massive departure. It wasn't until much later that the company began to have faith in him though, when he won the United States Championship . Credit for photo to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.

AJ Styles traded to SmackDown for ?????

Image
AJ Styles is once again on the blue brand! Michael Cole made the announcement during Styles' Intercontinental Championship Tournament match against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week's episode of SmackDown , saying that AJ is back on SmackDown full-time, being traded for a future Raw pick. This was done for kayfabe reasons. Being a Raw superstar, it wouldn't make much sense to have AJ win the IC Title Tournament, because of course it is a SmackDown championship. Do you think this means that Styles will win the tournament, and who do you think is getting traded to Raw? Let me know in the comments below! Credit for photo to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.

Chris Jericho is Suspended

Image
Chris Jericho is undeniably one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. The consummate king of reinvention, Jericho has been able to have one of the longest-lasting careers, both inside of and outside of WWE . Knowing this, it should go as no surprise that he was willing to do some crazy things in order to stay a relevant heel . From making fun of someone's dead father, to calling fans idiots, Chris has done some wild stuff. Perhaps the most notably "heelish" thing he ever did happened while on tour in Brazil in 2012. During a house show, Jericho desecrated a Brazilian flag in the middle of the ring. Brazil is a country noted for its national pride, so, understandably, the crowd and law enforcement were enraged with the performer. The police told Chris that he either had to apologize to the crowd, or he would be going to jail. Jericho apologized, and despite getting off scot-free, he was still suspended by the WWE for his actions. The company's officia
