 The April 10, 2020 edition of 205 Live was hosted from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

 Segment #1: Tony Nese defeats Danny Burch

Tensions are high with the Interim Cruiserweight Championship tournament beginning next week on NXT. Former champion Tony Nese and Danny Burch both looked to lay claim to a spot in the tournament, and both were happy to plow through each other to get to that spot. Burch controlled Nese for majority of the bout, using his trademark British brawling style to combine strikes and grapples into some devastating offense. "The Premiere Athlete" bounced back, using his agility to outmaneuver Burch. After nailing him with a German Suplex, Nese got the victory after hitting the Running Nese.

Segment #2: Jack Gallagher vs. Oney Lorcan ends in brawl

 Nese and Burch aren't the only ones looking to make it into the Interim Cruiserweight Championship tournament. Jack Gallagher and Oney Lorcan utilized their striking prowess to batter each other. With Tony Nese watching from the sidelines, neither competitor was able to kick it into full gear. This was especially true when Nese interrupted the match, leading to a large brawl between all three. Danny Burch came to the aid of partner Oney Lorcan, and the brawl continued. This championship tournament is going to be exciting!

AJ Styles traded to SmackDown for ?????

AJ Styles is once again on the blue brand! Michael Cole made the announcement during Styles' Intercontinental Championship Tournament match against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week's episode of SmackDown , saying that AJ is back on SmackDown full-time, being traded for a future Raw pick. This was done for kayfabe reasons. Being a Raw superstar, it wouldn't make much sense to have AJ win the IC Title Tournament, because of course it is a SmackDown championship.
