Segment #1: Kushida continues his dominant winning streak

An battle between two different fighting styles started off this week's episode of 205 Live, with the striker Kushida taking on the grappling "Governor" Danny Burch. As the Cruiserweight division has shown time and time again, their matches are on another level. Kushida tried using his speed to his advantage, but Burch had a counter at every turn. Burch was able to keep Kushida on the mat, using a variety of submission moves to wear the Japanese Superstar down. However, using his speed and excellent striking ability, Kushida was able to reverse Burch's crossface submission, and lock in a submission of his own, a Kimura lock, to make Burch tap out.

Segment #2: Jack Gallagher tears through Tyler Breeze

They may call Jack Gallagher the "Gentleman," but there was nothing gentle about his beat down of "Prince Pretty" Tyler Breeze. After returning a few weeks ago, Gallagher has been on a tear through the Cruiserweight division; that tear did not stop tonight.  He was systematic in his destruction of Breeze, targeting the left shoulder throughout the entire contest. It was this targeting that eventually led to Breeze's downfall, as, while he was struggling to get into the ring, Breeze was on the receiving end of a vicious discus elbow. The "Gentleman" took his opponent down with ease, pulling in yet another victory.

AJ Styles traded to SmackDown for ?????

AJ Styles is once again on the blue brand! Michael Cole made the announcement during Styles' Intercontinental Championship Tournament match against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week's episode of SmackDown , saying that AJ is back on SmackDown full-time, being traded for a future Raw pick. This was done for kayfabe reasons. Being a Raw superstar, it wouldn't make much sense to have AJ win the IC Title Tournament, because of course it is a SmackDown championship.
