RESULTS
Segment #1: Asuka takers her anger out on Liv Morgan
After losing her Women's Tag Team Title at WrestleMania 36, Asuka was not in a good mood, and she was looking to ruin someone else's day. Unfortunately for Liv Morgan, that someone was her. Morgan, who is coming off a WrestleMania 36 victory against Natalya, didn't appear to be afraid of "The Empress of Tomorrow." She should have been. Asuka ripped Liv apart, eventually making her tap out to the Asuka Lock, smiling all the while.
Segment #2: The battle for the Raw Tag Team Championships isn't over
In a WrestleMania 36 rematch, Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) took on Angel Garza and Austin Theory. This match didn't last long however, as Zelina Vega interrupted and then assisted Garze and Theory in an assault on Ford. This prompted Ford's wife Bianca Belair to come to her husband's aid, and challenge Vega to a fight. Zelina accepted, but the match didn't last long as the two teams began a brawl on the outside. A 6-Person Tag Team match was made, which The Street Profits and Belair won, using all of their athletic prowess.
Segment #3: Apollo Crews is unsuccessful in match against Aleister Black
For years now, WWE has claimed that Apollo Crews has plenty of potential, that all he needs is some good wins to kick-start his career. Unfortunately for Crews, his transition to Raw was met with a fight against Aleister Black. Black and Crews unsuprisinlgy put on a technical and hard-hitting bout. Crews looked to have the match one before a last-minute Black Mass put him down for the three. Hopefully we see more contests between these two.
Segment #4: Ricochet and Cedric Alexander team up
It has been proven many times in WWE that when two superstars in need of a career jump-start are paired together, magic usually ensues. This theory was put to the test yet again, as Ricochet and Cedric Alexander teamed up against NXT's Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. The submission duo tried to stop the aerial assault of Ricochet and Alexander, but the newfound allies were too fast for the technical grapplers.
Segment #5: Seth Rollins takes on NXT talent Denzel Dejournette
"The Monday Night Messiah" was not happy about his pair of WrestleMania 36 losses to Kevin Owens. He decided to take his frustrations out on upstart NXT talent Denzel Dejournette. Seth Rollins toyed with the young star, showing no mercy, which is in direct conflict with his "Messiah" name. We'll have to wait and see where Rollins' feud with Owens leads in the next few weeks.
Segment #6: Nia Jax returns with full force
The Women's Division "Irresistible Force" has returned, with more rage and aggression than ever. Nia Jax has seemingly recovered from her double knee surgery, and she ran a train on NXT's Deonna Purrazzo. Jax tormented Purrazzo, finally finishing her off with a modified DDT. I fear for anyone who gets in Nia's way.
Segment #7: Humberto Carrillo is victorious over Brendan Vink
Humberto Carrillo was looking to rally back after a few weeks of absence from Monday Night Raw. Carrillo picked up an easy win against the giant Brendan Vink, using his graceful arsenal and finishing Vink off with a perfect Moonsault. This fresh start can do nothing but bump Carrillo up the WWE ladder.
Segment #8: Drew McIntyre will be a defending WWE Champion
Immediately after winning the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre was goaded into a title defense against The Big Show. McIntyre doesn't want to be thought of as a cowardly champion, so even though he had taken a beating from "The Beast," he accepted "The World's Largest Athlete's" challenge. Show played around with Drew, clearly expecting to quickly win the title. "The Scottish Psychopath" wasn't playing around though. He laid Show out with a Claymore Kick, moving towards the future with overflowing momentum.
