RESULTS

Segment #1: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott improves his record in the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament

Isaiah "Swerve" Scott had a lot to prove going into has Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament match against El Hijo del Fantasma. After losing his first match in the tournament, "Swerve" was looking to rebound, and he did just that. Fast-paced cruiserweight action was a great way to open the show, with both Fantasma and "Swerve" utilizing their aerial skills to one-up each other. It was Scott who got the win, after both competitors dug through their arsenals looking for a roll-up victory.

Segment #2: Candice LeRae shows off her new attitude

Ever since joining her husband on the dark side, Candice LeRae hasn't been the same. At first she changed her attitude, then she changed her look, and, as can be seen from this match against Kacy Catanzaro, she changed her in-ring style. Instead of being her usual bubbly, graceful self, LeRae was methodical, slowly ripping Catanzaro apart. After putting her away with the Wicked Stepsister, LeRae attacked Catanzaro after the match, locking in her husband's finisher, the Gargano Escape, for good measure.

Segment #3: Imperium takes aim at the NXT Tag Team Championships

After tonight's attack, it would appear that Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher have new contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Riddle has been trying to get to know more about Thatcher, which is why tonight he held "The Newly-Bros Show." After taking a few comedic jabs at Thatcher, Riddle and Thatcher were attacked from behind by Imperium. Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner laid out the tag champs, claiming themselves the #1 contenders.

Segment #4: Mia Yim can't hang with "The Queen"

After weeks of telling the NXT roster that they weren't worthy of facing her, NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair decided to prove it. Taking on Mia Yim, "The Queen" toyed with her young opponent. Credit to Yim though, she lasted a long time, and took some of Flair's signature offense to boot. After making a small comeback, Yim was reversed into the Figure-8 for the submission victory. After the bout, Io Shirai appeared to challenge Flair for the title next week on NXT.

Segment #5: Dexter Lumis decimates Shane Thorne

The demented Dexter Lumis continues to terrify the WWE Universe. After teaming with The Velveteen Dream last week, Lumis looked to tear through another one of NXT's top talents. Unfortunately for Shane Thorne, that talent was him. Thorne quickly found out that Lumis is nearly invincible to physical offense. Before Thorne could rethink his strategy, Lumis laid him out with a spinebuster and then choked him out with the Anaconda Vise.

Segment #6: Drake Maverick improves his record in the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament

No one needs to win the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament more than Drake Maverick. Things haven't been going well for Maverick the past few weeks. First he was released from his WWE contract, and then he lost his first match in the tournament. He was hungry for a win, but so was his opponent, Tony Nese, who also lost his first match in the tournament. The former Cruiserweight Champion taunted Maverick throughout the bout, which did nothing but anger him. With everything going on in his life, Maverick doesn't have time to waste with fun and games. He lit in to Nese, pounding away on him in the corner and then hitting a top-rope bulldog for the win. Afterwards, Maverick spoke directly into the camera, letting the audience know that he wasn't going home without the NXT Cruiserweight Championship around his waist.

Segment #7: Keith Lee retains the NXT North American Championship

Despite having the upper-hand on Keith Lee for the past few weeks, Damian Priest wasn't able to secure the NXT North American Championship from "The Limitless One." Keith Lee threw the Archer of Infamy around the arena, shattering Priest's confidence in the process. Priest was able to turn the match around with some big moves, including some brutal strikes and kicks, but a superplex from Lee evened the playing field. After attempting to use the nightstick he laid Lee out with last week again, Priest was taken out with two fierce Spirit Bombs. With this victory, Lee has shown the WWE Universe why they should "Bask in His Glory."
