While in-ring talent is undeniably important, the thing that brings fans back to wrestling is the characters and drama. Superstars who can't act/tell a story are not going to last. Those with charisma and an articulate way of speaking oftentimes find themselves the most important people on the show. Let's take a look at ten greatest talkers in WWE history!

10. John Cena

Despite what some wrestling purists think about his wrestling ability, no one can deny that Cena hypes a crowd up like nobody else.

To be a great talker, you must understand the audience you are speaking to. Paul Heyman gets wrestling fans, and forms his sentences based off of their temperament and energy. He can be a corporate stooge one day, and a leader of vigilante heroes the next. Heyman can sell an event like no one else. Even Vince McMahon can't shill his product so well.

AJ Styles traded to SmackDown for ?????

AJ Styles is once again on the blue brand! Michael Cole made the announcement during Styles' Intercontinental Championship Tournament match against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week's episode of SmackDown , saying that AJ is back on SmackDown full-time, being traded for a future Raw pick. This was done for kayfabe reasons. Being a Raw superstar, it wouldn't make much sense to have AJ win the IC Title Tournament, because of course it is a SmackDown championship.
