Vince McMahon added to list of people who will help President Donald Trump Reopen the U.S. Economy
During his April 14, 2020 COVID-19 press conference, President Donald Trump expressed his wishes to reopen and reinvigorate the American economy. "We have to get our sports back. I'm tired of watching baseball games that are 14 years old," Trump exclaimed. The President then listed off various corporate sports giants that will be assisting him in reopening the economy. The list goes as follows:
- NBA Commissioner Adam Silver
- MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred
- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell
- UFC President Dana White
- PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan
- LPGA Commissioner Michael Whan
- USTA Chairman Patrick Galbraith
- MLS Commissioner Don Garber
- WWE Chairman Vince McMahon
- NASCAR Vice Chairperson Lesa Kennedy
- NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman
- Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones
- Dallas Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban
McMahon has yet to comment on the situation, or to the fact that he was announced by Trump as "the great Vince McMahon."
