Segment #1: The bitter rivalry between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville continues
After being tormented by Sonya Deville for the past few weeks, Mandy Rose was finally able to get her hands on her former best friend tonight. Rose wants to prove that she is better than her former tag team partner, so she told her boyfriend Otis to stay backstage. Coming out of the gate with lightning speed, Mandy Rose surprised Deville with a flurry of strikes. Always priding herself as the better wrestler of the two, Deville was able to quickly recover, catching Rose with a roll-up pin after some technical grappling.
Segment #2: The Forgotten Sons and The Miz & John Morrison triumph over The New Day and Lucha House Party
In an eight-man tag team match-up, in preparation for their SmackDown Tag Team Championship fatal-4-way tag team match at Money in the Bank, enemies became partners in a chaotic contest. Big E & Kofi Kingston of The New Day, and Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado of Lucha House Party were grouped together to take on Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler of The Forgotten Sons and The Miz & John Morrison. Despite several attempts at comebacks, The New Day and Lucha House Party were not able to overcome The Forgotten Sons and The Miz & John Morrison. Who will win the titles at Money in the Bank?
Segment #3: Sheamus is unsuccessful in trying to halt the return of Jeff Hardy
After weeks of vignettes, "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy finally made his return to WWE. Interviewing with Renee Young, Hardy let everyone watching at home know that he has one more good run with the company left in him. Sheamus came out to mock Hardy, letting him know that he's been through too much to make an impactful return. A brawl ensued, with Jeff Hardy coming out on top.
Segment #4: Bray Wyatt gives Braun Strowman one last chance to come home
Storming to the ring, Braun Strowman demanded that Bray Wyatt come out. After obliging "The Monster Among Men," Wyatt did everything in his power to try and persuade Strowman to come back to his side. Extending his hand, Wyatt pleaded with Strowman, but Braun simply walked away. Which man will win the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank?
Segment #5: Tamina looks strong heading into Money in the Bank
Displaying both her ferocity and dominance, Tamina had both Sasha Banks and the SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley quacking in their boots in the early goings of this tag team match. Banks and Bayley were able to isolate Tamina's partner, Lacey Evans, for a little while, but Tamina wasn't having it. She blew through both of her opponents, eventually laying Bayley out with a superkick and Samoan drop for the win.
Segment #6: A chaotic tag team match ramps up expectations for Money in the Bank
In a match-up leading to Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan, Drew Gulak, and Otis teamed up against King Corbin, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Everyone got to shine in this match, but all that starpower eventually led to a brawl on the outside. Some brutal shots happened, leading us to believe that there will be some crazy spots at Money in the Bank.
