Segment #1: A discrepancy between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher leads to Imperium winning the NXT Tag Team Championships

Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel were poised and ready to take the NXT Tag Team Championships from Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher. There dreams came through thanks to a breakdown in the partnership between Riddle and Thatcher. After being dominated by both Imperium members for a few minutes, Riddle looked to make his comeback. He did this by hitting a money flip, which accidentally knocked Timothy Thatcher off the apron. This enraged Thatcher, who walked to the back, leaving his partner to be taken out, losing the titles in the process.

Segment #2: Tegan Nox defeats Indi Hartwell

After taking a brutal beating from Shayna Baszler on Raw a few weeks ago, Indi Hartwell was looking to rebound with a victory over Tegan Nox. She is going to have to continue her search. Hartwell came out of the gate with a flurry of strikes, smashing into Nox any time she tried to stand. However, a quick Shiniest Wizard from Nox sent Hartwell packing.

Segment #3: Jake Atlas eliminates Tony Nese from the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament

Despite being a former NXT Cruiserweight Champion, Tony Nese could not find his foothold in the mountain that is the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament. Going against Jake Atlas, Nese was in a "live or die" situation, as if he lost one more match in the tournament, he would be eliminated. This didn't hamper his confidence though; Nese taunted Atlas throughout the contest, mocking him for wanting to "break barriers" in professional wrestling. This taunting eventually came back to bite him though, as Jake Atlas hit a beautiful Rainbow DDT for the victory, advancing himself in the tournament rankings.

Segment #4: Damian Priest's involvement causes Finn Bálor to lose to Cameron Grimes

After a brawl ensued between the two men last week, Finn Bálor amd Cameron Grimes decided to fight things out for real in a match tonight. Coming out of the gate with lightning speed, Grimes tried to end the match early, but "The Prince" was able to evade. After a furious back-and-forth, with both competitors trying to inflict the most damage possible on the other, Damian Priest arrived at ringside. While the ref was distracted with Grimes, Priest hit Bálor in the back of the leg with his nightstick. This allowed Grimes to pick up the win, and gave Priest the opportunity to attack Bálor, announcing to the world that he was the man who attacked Bálor a few weeks ago.

Segment #5: An attack from Tony Nese causes Isaiah "Swerve" Scott to fall to Jack Gallagher

After cutting a quick promo, in which he lambasted Tony Nese and Jack Gallagher for not being able to pick up a victory in the tournament, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott made his way to the ring. Before he could reach it though, he was attacked from behind by Nese, who didn't take too kindly to the remarks made about him. This attack allowed Gallagher to pick up a quick victory over "Swerve," finally getting a victory in the tournament.

Segment #6: Kayden Carter defeats Aliyah

After some trash talk between both competitors, both Kayden Carter and Aliyah blasted each other with some stiff shots. The match got so heated that Robert Stone came out to the ring to scout talent he would want under his brand's name. Aliyah was so focused on impressing Stone that she allowed herself to be caught in a Deathlock by Carter. Stone doesn't seem to be so interested in Aliyah anymore.

Segment #7: Riddle gets the win, but Thatcher gets the last laugh

Matt Riddle was looking for retribution on Timothy Thatcher for abandoning him in their NXT Tag Team Championship defense earlier on in the night. An interest match ensued, with the nasty striking ability of Riddle going against the mat mastery of Thatcher. Neither man could seem to hold the upper-hand. That was until Thatcher stomped on the bare foot of Riddle, allowing him to plow though his opponent with some uppercuts. Thatcher became too focused on inflicting pain on Riddle to remember that he was supposed to actually win the match. A misstep allowed Riddle to get a quick, roll-up victory. However, Thatcher torn Matt Riddle apart with a vicious armbar after the fact.
