The last event under the WWF Name is Held

On May 4, 2002, the WWF held the Insurrextion Pay-Per-View. While the event is noted for being a U.K exclusive show, it is even more famous for being the last show under the WWF name. This was because the Court of Appeals of England and Wales voted in favor of the World Wildlife Fund, who sued the wrestling promotion for using the WWF abbreviation. Going forward, the wrestling promotion would be known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), thanks to their wildly successful "Get the F Out" marketing campaign.
