RESULTS

Segment #1: Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeat Ever-Rise

Looking to get revenge for their loss on last week's episode of NXT, Ever-Rise (Chase Parker & Matt Martel) once again took on Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. While they were able to get in some impressive tag-team offense tonight, the newcomers weren't able to overcome the respect-bound bond that Lorcan and Burch have. They were again tapped out in tandem submission moves.

Segment #2: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeats Tyler Breeze in a cleaner

As expected by this point, the main event of 205 Live was a masterpiece. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott returns to the purple brand after being eliminated from the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion Tournament with a chip on his shoulder to take on Tyler Breeze. Although Breeze has found success on the main roster, he has really been able to show what he's made of on both NXT and 205 Live. Tonight's match was no exception. Controlling the majority of the match, Tyler just wasn't able to overcome Scott's newfound aggression. What's next in store for "Swerve" is anyone's guess.

AJ Styles traded to SmackDown for ?????

AJ Styles is once again on the blue brand! Michael Cole made the announcement during Styles' Intercontinental Championship Tournament match against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week's episode of SmackDown , saying that AJ is back on SmackDown full-time, being traded for a future Raw pick. This was done for kayfabe reasons. Being a Raw superstar, it wouldn't make much sense to have AJ win the IC Title Tournament, because of course it is a SmackDown championship.
